It’s not easy. This is not like picking something off the a la carte menu for lunch, something if bad you will only pay for during the next few hours. No, the wrong choice in tattoo can indeed last a lifetime.
Sure, with modern day techniques there are in fact ways of ‘erasing’ a bad mistake from your body but these can be very painful and also expensive and right now, they aren’t really 100% effective. Your best choice is having the right design choice before committing ink to skin.
So, if that’s the key, where’s the lock? This part is easy. It shouldn’t be hard and knowing where to start your design process makes it a much simpler task than it seems at first. Hell, my first tattoo I was so lost and really am not happy with it after I learned the ‘right’ way to get a tattoo.
The first part is deciding exactly what you are trying to say. While pure art is sometimes great, I always prefer a word or name to be incorporated into my ink to add special meaning. For example, one I am designing right now has my daughter’s name right in the center with design work surrounding it and complimenting it.
So where did I get the design tips? Truth be told, I’m no artist and I’m sure many fall into that same category as me and need some help. I did what you’re doing right now, I turned to the Internet.
There are so many design factories out there on the World Wide Web and places to check online a person could get lost in great ideas. Knowing a perfect place is how it’s done. Finding a design shop which has a ton of options and ideas where you can search and find that perfect design that not only means something to you but also looks good.
After all, this shouldn’t be just throwing some ink on your body and while it may mean something meaningful or even spiritual to you, it is horrendous to look at. No, this is a work of art. A one of a kind masterpiece you will carry with you always. Also, depending where it’s located on your body, this choice can turn that first impression into a lasting one from people who see it for the first time. Like it or not we sometimes do indeed judge a book by its cover and the cover you choose to put on yourself should be a good one.
So you do not want to make the same mistake a lot of people do by choosing the wrong design. The good news is that with the right choice a tattoo will be something you are proud of and one worth showing off either to many or keeping it for a private viewing audience.
I found just such a place I have gotten more than one great idea from and used it myself in a couple designs I wear proudly right now. One of these is visible even as I write this blog and I am thankful I found the right design site to help with this design.
