Caleb Butler Lodge and the Ayer Masonic Association … will be holding its annual fund raiser at the town of Ayer 4th of July celebration at Pirone Park. In addition to its world famous strawberry shortcake, other food items for sale will be hamburgers, sausages, hotdogs, soda and water. also at the concession will be the famous tattoo artist mr. Josh who will have a variety of temporary tattoos available.

Town beach opens

The town beach open daily until Labor Day. The hours when lifeguards are on duty for public swimming are noon to 7 p.m. All lifeguards are Red Cross-certified. There is no swimming at the town beach when lifeguards are not on duty.
