• Use recommended ointment ONLY 3 – 4 times a day (after washing), for 3 – 4 days. Thereafter, use unscented lotion (Lubriderm or Vaseline Intensive care) Use small amount and wipe off excess.
• Scabbing will occur 24 – 48 hours after tattooing. DO NOT pick or scratch at the tattoo! Itching 5-6 days later is normal, as the tattoo heals. Shield the tattoo from direct sunlight for the entire healing process
• Healing should be complete after approximately 3 weeks
• DO NOT Swim in chlorinated water or the ocean until completely healed. DO NOT soak in bath tub either!
• Some areas will lighten as they heal; the colour will eventually settle to an even tone, provided you look after it!
